OTU-ESSEL KWADWO FORDJOUR KINGSLEY, ESQ

Otu-Essel Kwadwo Fordjour Kingsley was born on the 8th of November, 1954 in Amomorso near Bekwai in the Ashanti Region. In 1970-1975 he had his GCE-Ordinary Level and from 1975-1977 had his GCE Advanced Level at Sunyani Secondary School(SUSEC). He had a Bachelor of Laws(LL.B) at University of Ghana, Legon in 1980. In 1982, he was called to the BAR and posted to the Attorney Generals Department, Sunyani to do his National Service. He was made the Chairman of Brong Ahafo Regional Tribunal in 1983.

He distinguished himself as the Regional Tribunal Chairman and was made to sit in Kumasi, Obuasi and Cape Coast. He was posted to Sekondi in the Western Region in 1990 and after working for some months he resigned to practise as a private Lawyer.  He joined Barimah Chambers in 1990 then headed by Kofi Gyambrah Esq. of blessed memory.

After working at Barimah Chambers for six (6) years he set up his own Chambers by name Otu-Essel & Associates (Asempa Chambers) in 1996 where he was the Head of the Chambers and practised as a lawyer till his demise on 16th December, 2015.
